Me

I'm Mike White, an automotive photographer based in Coventry, UK. I've been photographing cars professionally for more than 15 years, working across commercial, editorial, events and social media.

But cars have always been more than just subjects for me. I'm a lifelong enthusiast and much happier crawling around an old car than doing anything remotely sensible with my spare time.

My own garage is a fairly good reflection of that. I have a 1963 VW Split-Screen Camper, which I've been bringing back to life after a few years off the road, and a 1968 Austin-Healey Sprite that I inherited from my dad. There's also my Mini which was my first car, but it's currently leaving a rather worrying rusty patch on the drive.

Having children of my own who are just as car mad probably couldn't make me happier, and also a wife who not only enjoys old cars but lifts her head when she hears a nice exhaust note.

Over the years I've photographed everything from classics and supercars to restoration projects, specialist parts, events and everything in between. I've worked with brands, magazines, clubs and independent businesses, building up a large archive and a pretty good understanding of the automotive world along the way.

I love cars with stories, and learning about the people behind those stories. Fortunately, they're usually the ones I get asked to photograph.
